Death By Neon The Affirmation's new album is just amazing! A pure Synthpop / Dreamwave masterpiece, deserve to be one this year's most important and addictive release!
I just can't believe we are at this time only two peoples addicted to it, I hope to see this gem in much more collections really soon.
In addition the cover art from Pablo Palomeque is damn good and is very well selected to feet to the album's concept. Favorite track: Together.

loveimpasse If you ask me the question "can you describe synthwave in two words?" I would definitely answer "The Affirmation". This album is incredibly amazing, with a perfect balance of instrumental + vocal tracks that bring the 80s back to today but with a nice future touch that makes it unique.

This feeling is strange The streets are so hot The light of the day Is keepin´ us warm These people can´t see That something is near The mist is so strong And coming inside my home I wanted some peace on my mind But I got to get some garlic instead Night falls all around me today Don´t wanna fear the lost boys again I need a home safe from these creatures The preacher says I´m losing my mind The runners are running away Now it´s time to save my poor soul and let it go The beach remains calm They´re sleeping in rocks The thirst has to stop My mission... I know. There is no way out of this hell but I can´t go on... Night falls all around me today Don´t wanna fear the lost boys again I need a home safe from these creatures The preacher says I´m losing my mind The runners are running away Now it´s time to save my poor soul and let it go

My Way Home 04:52
There´s something about you That remains inside me I won´t fall again I can´t call you back, you know is true All the secrets, all the lies you´ve said They still linger on I can´t show you I can´t tell the truth Lost in the pain Can´t learn to blame This feeling is strange And I will go on to find my way home I know you can tell I know is too late... Now you´re gone They said you,ve tried They say you have found your love I can feel it, I can change I will find my way There´s no reason for the things... For the things you´ve did Lost in the pain Can´t learn to blame This feeling is strange And I will go on to find my way home to you Lost in the pain Can´t learn to blame This feeling is strange And I will go on I can feel it, I can change I will find my way There´s no reason for the things... For the things you´ve did Lost in the pain Can´t learn to blame This feeling is strange And I will go on to find my way home

Live Again 04:40
I´m on my way to hold you You´re running fast Stop breaking the new waves That I made for you Just never say "never" You´re on you´re own now Forget the tears in your tired eyes Make it happen now and smile Go, don´t waste your time There´s no need to erase it Tomorrow will get better If you change your heart Get around, stop the fire Listen to the drums! And free your mind You´re cold inside Go, don´t waste your time There´s no need to erase it Tomorrow will get better If you change your heart Just live again It can only get better If you change your heart

The Road 04:22
The night falls down, there´s no escape The only choice is run like hell I´m lost in the city, lost in the highway The rust is eating my engine And I don´t wanna go like these Soon they will come to take her away Guess I won´t stop dreaming this way But I can´t go on like this The road is ahead of me Don´t know where to hide it no more Hopelessly grieving Living alone Running away from my life Hopelessly grieving Living alone Driving away from my life

When the lights go out I feel a little bit down This feeling I can´t change Is hurting inside Sooner or later it´ll be gone I just can´t stop thinking of... Sooner or later we´ll be gone forever Forever and ever Can´t live without you And these waves of love But I can´t get it on No, I can´t get enough I just can´t live without you And these waves of love inside me The time is gone The crack is open I feel it now You where my generator The lights are out now The lights are out now I just can´t live without you And these waves of love inside me

Together 04:25
Don´t want a second chance The situation is dangerous We need the human esence To stop this crazy war You can change your thoughts You can make it right What is stopping you? Are you so afraid? There´s a chance of a new world coming You can raise your own voice whenever you want We need to stay together We are the colour of a new wave The first run is coming And the last men are turning No place for wicked ones No more despair for us There´s a chance of a new world coming You can raise your own voice whenever you want We need to stay together We are the colour of a new wave It´s a shame this never happened before We are young enough now to take it from here We need to stay together We are the colour of a new wave There´s a chance of a new world coming You can raise your own voice whenever you want We need to stay together We are the colour of a new wave
